#17 "Why?" - 25 Days of Christmas

This strange yet sterling star leads the Wise Men every step of the way. They are traveling from the East. Bethlehem would appear first. And yet, the star bypasses Bethlehem and leads them to Jerusalem to meet the jealous and insecure King Herod first. I only have one question… Why? Why would the Star lead the Wise Men to the bad guy first? Why would such leading lead to such destruction? Why would the “roundabout way” be “the way” to the newborn king? Forgive me.
