Lent Day 22 - 2 Corinthians 5 answers some very serious questions about why Jesus felt abandoned by God on the cross and the eternal difference it makes for us! Yesterday, on Lent Day 21 we heard the painful and agonizing cry of Jesus, "Eloi, Eloi lama sabachthani?" (My God, My God why have you forsaken me?) Why did Jesus feel forsaken by His Father on the cross? Why did Jesus have to die on the cross? What difference did Jesus dying on the cross make for us?
