Lent Day 26 - "I am" #5 - I am the Resurrection and the Life "I am the Resurrection and the Life" finds us by the tomb of Lazarus as Jesus is confronted by Lazarus' sister Martha. Martha had pleaded with Jesus to return from an out of town trip to be with her then sick brother. Jesus delays his return by two days only to find Lazarus dead in the tomb for four days already upon arriving back in town. As Jesus approaches town, Martha makes a bee line to confront him with these words, "If only you had been here, Lazarus would still be alive!"
