Lent - Day 5: Psalm 51 is one of the great "Penitential" Psalms. Each Monday during our Lenten Video Series we will explore one of the Psalms. Today we take a look at Psalm 51. David wrote this Psalm in penitential response to being convicted by Nathan the Prophet of his sins by committing adultery with Bathsheba and David's subsequent arrangement for the murder of her husband Uriah the Hittite. Psalm 51 serves as a great prayer of confession as we journey toward the Cross and the Empty Tomb during Lent. Grace and peace, Laugh often and Fear not! David!
