Thursday's Thoughts from Pastor David On the 27^th day of the ninth month in the year of our Lord two thousand and eighteen, I pray with great urgency that the presence of God, the grace of God, the love of God, the mercy of God and the abundance of the compassion of God will dwell richly in your heart this day… I ran across a new definition of Prayer which I wanted to pass on to you this day by Dr. Ralph Martin: “Prayer is, at root, simply paying attention to God.”Let that quote percolate… On that quote, let’s meditate… With this in mind, let’s open our heart to pay attention to God this day… Whether it be through talking, listening, giving, receiving, being loud, being quiet, running, walking, lying down, standing up, earbuds in, earbuds out, being active, being still Let us be attentive to the One who pays attention to us… It will make all the difference in your world!
